The restaurant's menu is a love letter to traditional Uruguayan comfort food. From savory stews to freshly grilled meats, it’s hard to pick just one favorite. For those who enjoy classic dishes, La Comida De Mamá serves up a variety of options that showcase the richness of Uruguay’s culinary heritage. When it comes to flavor, the kitchen doesn’t disappoint. Each dish is made with care, and the ingredients are always fresh. Local produce is prioritized, ensuring that everything on the plate tastes as it should, from farm to table. • La comida nos pareció muy rica, la atención muy cálida e informativa!!! El único inconveniente es que estaba muy frío, le faltaba un poco de calefacción. El lugar muy colorido!

  • Hands down - 5 stars. We are from Puerto Rico and now live in Uruguay. The closest we can get to our native food is Cuban. Wow! This was delicious - the preparation, the seasoning and the presentation were all wonderful. Service was friendly and very good. We will be back - more items to try! Gracias… Gracias…

  • Amazing food and excellent service! We had the toston with shredded beef, the Cuban-style stewed beef (ropa vieja), and red beans (frijoles colorados) — everything was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this spot!
